I've always hated the Bongo...

I owned a Bongo 5 HH/p over a year ago, and sold it along with the rest of my balls. I am finally getting 2 of them back, but not a Bongo in sight.

I have nothing against the Bongo, it's just not my thing I guess...

Nah, the first stage is swearing up and down that it will never ever become No. 1.

The realization that the other bass doesn't get played much anymore comes anywhere from several months to a year down the road.

this is a no brainer...having the bongo and the ray, and having them work so differently makes me appreciate each of them even more. Anyways, thanks guys for all the info and the input. A good friend of mine (professional photographer) will be visiting me soon...pics pending.

I truly love Bongos, they are great - pity I didn't when blue dawn was around.
