I've found quite an Antiquity

I recently went back to Italy to visit my family and to attend my dad's funeral, during my days there I went a little back in time when I checked my old bedroom, and I was having a look through plies of stuff I had collected as a teenager, I left home when I was 19, and that was 28 years ago!!

I still have a couple of my old guitars there, a double bass, an amp and lots of music ancillaries that I used to collect, as I was looking through all this junk I came across one particular item that caught my attention, a very large window or glass reverse printed sticker that was given to me by that old shop keeper who used to sell the most amazing instruments I could only dream at that time in my town.

Does anyone here know how old this sticker is, when was it issued? I can't exactly remember what year it was all I know that is that I went through my sticker collecting fad when I was 16-17 which is about 30+ years ago, any later than that and I would not have been interested as I was beginning to get into girls a lot and it would have been embarassing to have girls coming to my place to see me collecting stickers like some d*rk! lol

So here is the sticker I have: how old do you think it is?

Fran...I've seen the Music Man Dealer stickers (above) which are very similar to yours.

I understand they go back to the Pre-EB days but don't know the exact dates.

Thanks Gav, I thought as much... looks like the man who gave it to me cut out the words Authorized and Dealer... I wonder why

He used to sell them in Naples, Italy but I guess he wasn't an authorized dealer (quite common there in those days)
