Hey guys,

I know a few of you are on JTC so I'm curious on how you use it. I know that you can either download the tracks separately as mp3 (with guitar and/or backing track), or you can subscribe for a monthly fee and get unlimited streaming. What I would like to know is, because the artists (to my knowledge) get royalties to the downloads, can I only use these tracks for my own personal use? Or is there any legality in using them, for instance, as a Soundcloud track or Youtube video (with my own guitar track overlay), acknowledging the artist and JTC? As a musician, I would not want to steal any one's work in any way; I'm just looking to see how I can utilize it as I am considering a subscription to JTC. Thanks in advance.

Hmmm. Anyone? I guess it really can relate to any kind of backing track or playing along with an actual recording that someone owns the rights to. For me I would probably only consider JTC, but I am curious if there is a way to get permission to use their tracks for, say YouTube or Soundcloud or similar, while I am working on my own complete tracks.
