Jamie Humphries performs with Queen

Hi guys...some pretty exciting news..I shall be performing with Queen to celebrate Freddie Mercury's 65th Birthday at a one off charity event at the Savoy Hotel in London on Monday the 5th of September...Its a huge homour for Brian May and Roger Taylor to ask me to be a part of this historic event...I have been rehearsing forthe past few days in London, and today had the pleasure of rehearsing with Jeff Beck who will also be joining us on stage...I'll report back after the show..better try and get some sleep..am way too excited...Here's a pic of me in rehearsals with my old faithfull ASS...Jamie

As an aside, I'm going to see Jeff Beck again in a month here in Halifax. Monster player. Blows me away every time I see him. Can't wait! Have a blast playing with him Jamie!

Truthfully, i can't think of 2 blokes that would be a bigger and humbling honor to share a stage with. Jeff Beck is still my favorite on electric and playing better than ever and Brian has hands down written some of my favorite songs and riffs of all time, and has always been such a class act and interesting interview...but it may be time to lose the perm brian!
