Great Tone, Great Playing! This disc looks to be really helpful to those trying to get some of these riffs down, I may even have to buy it myself. However, you're missing a slight bend and a two-note slide on the Couldn't Stand The Weather bit which throws it off slightly.

Not really too sure what you mean!!...the idea of the DVD, the Jam with series is to give you the nuts and bolts of the tune...not every single little nuance like a written transcription..the idea is to get the riff, learn it and jam!!...I would pretty much say that SRV never played it the same way twice, this was just a my interpretation of the riff for demo purposes, not a full note for note performance...plus I was sight reading my transcription I had written..so please forgive me if I missed a couple of bits haha!!....but thanks for you comments....I like feedback..makes me get it better next time..cheers Jamie Humphries

You're absolutely right, I was basing that on the recording from the album with the same name. Seriously, your playing of it is great and it's very very close to how he played it on the record. I think everyone has one song that's special to them and you end up judging someone else's interpretation too much. This song is like that to me. I hope I didn't offend you at all cause you are a magnificent player and did exactly what you were meant to do for the DVD. Like I said, I'll be ordering a copy to learn some more of his licks. :D

No No No...you so have not offended me!!...i really appreciate people pointing out stuff so I can try and get things as close as I can...I just wanted to explain a little about the format of the Jam with DVD...as these are not note for note like learn to play that was all....but don't worry you really did not offend!!:D I am just sitting at my laptop transcribing Altitudes by Jason Becker for Guitar Techniques magazine...I have already started working on the backing track...I shall record all the guitars using my Black Custom Silouette Special, the one in the Ceremony video...Jamie Humphries
