Hey Now!

Last weekend, KBaim came over my new digs in Vegas for a couple of hours so we could play guitar and hang out. He is a very cool individual with an interesting style of guitar playing. His use of the piezo combined with his Line 6 amp settings and his fingerpicking technique opened my eyes to a different approach to guitar. He treated me to several of his compositions and encouraged me to play some leads over some of his work. His Carbon Blue Pearl Luke is amazing sounding. I plugged it into my 5150 half-stack and it can scream with the best of them. I was truly impressed with the "v" shaped neck and the dazzling array of birdseye on the neck as well.

Keith scored some Jeff Beck tix for late Sept. and was kind enough to invite me to go with him to the show. Hopefully we can jam out again before we witness one of the true masters in Mr. Beck.

The funniest thing about the entire afternoon was when we would discuss this forum and you folks. We would mention something said or posted here and it was like "Big Poppa said this....." It struck me as funny that your user names had become your identities.:D

Just though I'd share.

kbaim's a great guy. His original music is very nice. I'm looking forward to hearing him play in Dallas.

Keith is one of the coolest dudes I have ever met. I met him the first time in San Deigo. His playing is spectacular. I love his technique and could sit there and watch him play for hours on end.

Keith is one of those types that the world needs more of.....one of the nicest guys on the planet.

Meet Keith at the Open House and he was kind enough to give me a lift from and too the airport, I still owe you for that one Keith. :)

We hung out since we were staying at the same motel and we had a blast. He turned everybody onto the Roland Cube!!

Pug your right his CB Luke is nice, he picked that up at the Open House, that was a pretty cool thing. Now that guitar has a story to go with it.

I totally agree, Keith is a truly nice guy. Listening and watching him play is a treat as well. He is also pretty hilarious, he actually brought a pic of his AL to show me and proceeded to fall in love with the MM90's and my AL:D

Keith is "way, way cool" (Cali Lingo)... met up with him on Cannery Row at a Jam Session a few months back... after that we hung out for a couple hours... talked about gigs, girls, guitars, applying exotic scales when others aren't aware & life...

Was gonna take Keith back to my pad and let him play his sweet melodic finger style through my Bose L1... just to show him how huge it can sound through this wonderful system... but once he found out I have a cat..... he freaked:eek:

Keith's allergic to cats,,, (which, as we discussed, is not a good thing when it comes to scoring with potential lady friends... poor guy...:( )

He sent me Chick Chorea's latest Electric Band DVD.... Frank Gambale, and the rest of the guys are just amazing as usual.. Haven't got around to sending it back yet (sorry Keith).... sure wish more people were hip to this kind of music...

Ciao, the Joseph

I hear that, we were forced to play in my garage because of my two dogs. No big deal though, it was a truly awesome time.

F@#kin' allergies. G@d^mn asthma.

Computer crapped out and I'm out of town.

Pug, thanks for your hospitality in Vegas. That was a great couple of hours. Looking forward to jamming again BEFORE seeing Jeff beck. You're playing is smooth and tasty.

Maybe we could convince a couple of forum folk to come out and see jeff and all hook up--date is Sept 29 at HOB in Mandalay Bay.

Lucido, you better get out to see beck

Thanks for the kind words guys. BP, you'll have to ask me to leave this place ;) . Great bunch of folk around here.
