You're not alone. I'm hoping they release two 8 string models next year. A JP 8 and a JR 8. I think they'd also offer a JR model in a 7 string configuration as well and probably not go for a 6 string version of his guitar as he never plays 6 string models.

I'm hoping for a fixed bridge on the JR models but I know he utilizes the floating term a lot so who knows? I know theres been lot of speculation behind there being a Jason Richardson Signature guitar and hopefully it becomes a reality. Jason's definitely put in the time developing those chops and is an excellent composer, I feel he's really earned it and after witnessing the overwhelming positive response of his campaign for his new solo album, it's clear he's going places as a solo artist.

I really hope EBMM snags him up as a Signature Artist!
