Rufus Reid's The Evolving Bassist and Jamey Abersold's II-V-I playalong book plus non-stop listening to (just a few choices here, many more out there):

Giant Steps (the entire CD), Coltrane
Mingus Ah Um, Mingus
Sunday at the Village Vangaurd, Bill Evans
The Tony Williams Lifetime Collection(on Sony/Columbia)

drum and bass techno is awsome
i could listen to that stuff for hours

the band crazy penis is my favorite

You know, at first, I wasn't crazy about "cowpilot" as my band's name.

I thought - "Cowpilot. I just don't know."

I now officially like Cowpilot just fine.

true true

ok
its like extacy without waking up the morning after and feeling like you wanna kill yourself

crazy penis arent drum & bass...they're deep house / lounge / dance kinda thing.

drum & bass is fast (>160bpm) & hectic, sped up funk drum breaks. like -
Totally addicted to bass - Puretone
Outta space - The Prodigy
that sesame street anthem D&B remix

is that what u mean?

actually "addicted to bass" was an aussie track, the girl who does the vocals is amiel = obligatory babe photo shot
