I've always loved Jeff Beck's song "The Pump" off his "There & Back" album, so I thought I'd do a cover of it. I used my Blue Axis into Guitar Rig 2. I was trying to be a bit most tasteful and restrained than usual so see what you think. I threw it together in two hours - I don't know how people have the patience to spend days and days on one song!

It's on my soundclick page.

Pump it up...

That was cool! I'm a Jeff fan. You did a nice version!
BTW, you made me start thinking about the NI GR2...

Guitar Rig 2 is great. Lots of good features (dual recording tape decks, loop recording machines, etc) as well as some really good tones. You need to tweak stuff to get it just right, but it's worth the effort - I've been very happy with some of the tones I've got. I posted some clips on the MESA forum and no-one picked up that it wasn't a real MESA!

Very, very nice

1. IMHO it sounds better like beck´s one (which, ok, is 25 years old or so). but who am I to criticize the sound of an old record

2. if I had a blind listening, I would believe, it´s Beck playing.

:D :D :D You are completely mad for saying that, but thanks anyway! Unless you mean "Beck" of Odelay fame instead of Jeff Beck?!?

If only JB played Musicman...
