I don't know how in to vintage stuff ya'll are around here but i have quite a find on my hands. You've probably all head of Jeff beck but did you know that for 2 years in the late sixties that he had a killer R&B rock band with Ron Wood of the stones on bass and Rod Stewart on vocals? Well he did, the orginal Jeff Beck group that lasted from 68-69 is one of the great lost groups in history. Rod Steward did probably the best singing of his entire career with this little funky blues group. Ron Wood turns out to be a pretty killer John Paul Jones-esque bass player. And Jeff Beck is totally out of control and at his firey best ripping off endless crazy blues riffs! If you're interested check out Jeff Beck's "Truth" and "Beckola" records. They are the only studio documents of this group. But What i've found is a live bootleg of their first US tour live, in my backyard, at the Winterland ballroom in San Francisco CA! Let me know if you'd like to check it out. The quality is bad so this is not for the faint of heart audiophile, but you can hear all parts. Peace love and soul! and Happy New year, best wishes
