JFK to San Jose...

I land @ 11:10 AM, grab a rental car and head for the Quality Suites in SLO...

I'd be happy to share the ride (I've three empty seats!) to anyone interested.

Caveat is that I'm heading out early on Saturday (missing the "awesome, sure to be life-changing, once in a lifetime artist extravaganza"), but I suspect there will be plenty of opportunity to grab a ride back to San Jose on Sunday morning.

If you're on the Jet Blue from JFK Flight 169 I'll be on the same flight. Wouldn't mind sharing the ride down but I'm staying through Saturday night and heading up to Foster City on sunday to meet up with friends who live there. Flight back is from San Jose Sunday redeye. I also have a rental car reserved and am staying at Motel 6 - but I'm sure they can't be too far from each other.

If there is any way I can find a ride back up to Foster City area on Sunday I'll split the ride down with you since you would need a car to get back a day early on Saturday.

Sounds like a definite maybe, seeing as how you also have unique travel needs - guess it all depends on you're Foster City area travel plans...

Ok, so we've potentially got one seat filled, two seats still open!

BTW - Looking for folks to share the ride, not share the cost, as I'd be paying for the car even if it was just me.

I'll be heading back up north to the Bay Area on Sunday with some empty seats, and I can swing by Foster City if needed. Just let me know, send a PM for my contact info.

BTW, I'm flying in Friday on Southwest. I'm flying standby, so I'll either be coming into San Jose from Chicago (Midway), or into Oakland from Phoenix.

JFK to SLO

I'm flying right into SLO......via LAX.......via Chicago......via Cleveland. A brutal itinerary that gets me into SLO airport at 5:00, but takes 12 hours to get there. No cost for 3 day car rental, but no time for sleep either.

Thanks for the offer. I'll contact my friends to find out about getting to the airport Sunday night and how that can be arranged.
