This is in my opinion the best decision, also from my own experience with my "limited Ebony-Edition-Stingray" from 2008. They normally answer quite quick in my experience to "decode" the complete Build Code. Especially the unknown NEck-Code "M1" and the Color-Code "AA" (for "Vintage Tobaco Burst") also seems both quite uncommon, so its probably some kind of special Version of a 3-Band/1-Humbucker-Stingray for special (european-/spain-exclusive?) EBMM-Retailer or Musicinstrument-Store...?)I've already sent an email to customer service to see if they can confirm this information.
What more do you need to know that anyone here can help?I have received a response from customer service, and they tell me that it has Alder in the body and Flamed Maple on the neck and fingerboard. Unfortunately, they have not given me any more information. The bass is completely new, its tags, barcode, and original case, and the curious thing is that the neck combines both flame and birdseye, it is really beautiful. If anyone can give me more information about the build code, I would be very grateful. Still, it is enough information to know that the bass is original. So finally, I am going to get my Stingray. ...
What information are you looking for that you haven't already been given???? The serial number tool gives the information below, and with that you also know that the body is alder and that the neck and fretboard are flamed maple. Does the information below not match the bass they have?I have received a response from customer service, and they tell me that it has Alder in the body and Flamed Maple on the neck and fingerboard.
