how yees doing fellow mm players, i posted a few threads about a month ago concerning fret buzz etc and got the advice to go and c jimmy eygypt (guitar tech) in otago street glasgow.... does anybody know the name of the shop? cheers. :)

i was there for a month last year

Glasgow's not in Ireland, Jub.

Tell you what, come to Scotland instead for your sixteenth... you'll like that even more :)

Is Academy of Sound run by the same guys who started CC Music round the corner ?

You should also try Jimmy Moon on the south side. About 20 years ago he did some great work on a jazz bass which I still have (defret, EMGs plus spectacular blue sunburst finish). Very high quality work. Back in the 80s, when I lived in Glasgow, you would bump into Lloyd Cole, Simple Minds, Big Country in his wee shop.

It's the same place. They changed the name.

Yep, I've also heard he's good.

i was thinkin galway

anywho

i have been to glasgow too
i wasnt there as long as i was in dublin
i went to that cool castle at the top of that hill
and the mall thats by it
i love medevil citys

Don't worry about it... I'll bet most of us on this side of the pond could embarrass ourselves with our knowledge of US states.

but
if its anything like the other citys up there im sure its cool enough
