Well I just got back for seeing Joe Bonamassa at the Ottawa Civic centre. WOW just friggin WOW, Joe's attention to tone and volume control, unprecedented, and his vocals were spot on. I waited all night and finally Joe pulled out an EBMM, I knew he would, somehow deep down inside I knew...enjoy! More pics here...hey wait a sec, is that a reverse headstock???

The new Dust Bowl CD is really growing on me. Some real nice textures on there. Extended outro solos. Highly recommended.

Why did you have to wait all night for an EBMM?? I thought he used them for heaps of his gigs?

Well I read something on his forum, about some difficulties Joe had with Canadian customs and shipping his gear to the UK for the rest of his tour, so I think that had something to do with it. He mentioned not having several guitars with him while stopping in Canada like the EBMM with two necks, not sure the model...

Man I had no idea, till I posted the pics, that this was a special guitar...please more info on this Darklord, like when was it issued, and was it just for Steve?
Damn I knew I should have stayed in my room as a kid and practiced more, instead of chasing the girls...

Just forgot to mention boys, I took one for the team when taking these pics. Although my original seats were great for the show, second row, off to Joe's left, as soon as Joe appeared with the DARKLORD in hand, I played the role of professional photographer and moved in for the kill...I had to man, I had to!

I just saw him in Reading Pa. (March 23rd) and he was amazing!!!! And same as you Raz, I waited for a while til he pulled that guitar out for Mountain Time. And he does indeed master the art of volume control and playing dynamics in general. . . . And my GOD can the man sing!!!! Awesome awesome talent!!!:D

I went with my wife Wendy and my stepson Zack (he plays too), and when the show was over, Zack looks at me and says "After watching that, what the hell am I supposed to do when I get home and pick up my guitar?????" It was priceless!!! I've watched the Live at the Royal Albert Hall so many times. . . . but actually being there and seeing and hearing him live was jaw-dropping!! REALLY!!!!
