The concept is pretty cool. I like those block inlays myself, but the color in that combination does not work very well for some reason. Now if it was like a trans blue in a sick Flame, that would be a different story :D. Sounds fantastic of course!

As the cliche goes, 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder', it looks awesome to me....I can't really pick up on the enlarged headstock, but I love solid colors as much as a good trans, and on a Y2D - very cool.

love it or hate it, he's still a monster player and the exposure is terrific for Music Man.

Really is there a bigger poster child for EBMM guitars than Big Joe. he plays just about the whole line night after night so good for him if he even like an ugly one. I am still waiting to see him with a Roller which is the only one I have never seen him with, and the guitar that would be most suited tone wise for his style of music out of the whole line.

I keep telling Joe that is a ugluy guitar...he asked for it and we made it it has a larger headstock too

LOL
Just what I thought...
Sorry, I just don't like the block inlays on this type of guitar...
The more I think about it: I even don't like block inlays at all
Didn't notice the larger headstock though...

But aside from the looks the tone is simply just amazing!

At least the Y2D looks a lot better than this:
