Joe uses the Silhouette Bass to play "Back in the Saddle" a lot.

It always bugs me when I see musicians change thier alliance and then rave about the new instrument. I realize that tastes change, but if you have a signature model, doesn't that seem kind of rude?
I admire George Lynch for being so loyal to ESP, and the fact that Alex Lifeson never really had a signature model (that limited run Gibson 355 hardly counts because it was a piece of crap) despite using PRS for years.
Now EVH's name will come up, but he actually holds his endorsements for years so I can't be too mad at him.

I don't know if it's 'rude'. Tastes change all the time. For every Angus Young who sticks to one brand his whole career there are lots of players who like to try different things.

Note, several EB artists previously had signature guitars from other manufacturers.

It does not matter to some players especially one like Perry, as he uses what guitar sounds best for a certain song. The last time I saw them on the Pump tour they played over 20 songs and he used a different guitar for each one. I would hope he pays his tech well.
