Standing in the wings Saturday night with Sterling, we both were dumbfounded how you could walk into this gig and play with all the different Artists, and NOBODY could EVER believe that you weren't the full time drummer in each group. John played with about 12 million different combinations of musicians (between the forumites and the artists sat night). He flat out kicked ass the whole weekend.

John aced his way through the forumite jam, which I figured he would, being a pro and all.

But he absolutely blew me away at the Saturday night concert, when he played the complex tunes of Morse et al. with only a single soundcheck for rehearsal!
The dude was thundering, and you could tell the guitarists were impressed with how well he played.

And he was one hell of a nice guy to boot!
