Hello,
Yesterday night I went to the Mexico city Dream Theater show (awesome!!! as always...) and I bought the "program" (tour book), there are several cool pictures of JM with his Bongo 6 (a rare one with a Bongo 6 2008LTD, he usually uses black and silver instruments...) there is also a short comment about the recording of the latest album, he said try several wood combinations (in the Bongo 6) in the previous tour to come with the wood setup that he is using now (in the new recordings and tour). Does anyone know what combinations of wood is he using? It seems that he is not using the standard setup of Basswood/maple...
