Very interesting, fine playing, and obviously DT inspired - Lifting Shadows of a dream, Sacrificed Sons (the rhythm part in the middle of Your song) and many others. I especially like the final clean part though - I think the atmosperic parts & delay/volume playing were most "personal"!!! Cool video shooting, too, rather than the boring webcam stuff.

Keep them coming - and yes, that 7-string is deffinitely great, too!

Wow, that was awesome. I usually cant sit down and watch a you tube video for more then 2 minutes but that kept me interested and I watched to whole thing. The chords at the beginning almost sounded like The Ministry of Lost Souls. And I really liked the soloing that you did in the last minute of the song. Kind of reminded me of Return to Forever. The whole song was brilliant.

Wow. Seriously cool. I admire the obvious amount of time you have put in to this piece and the production of the video.
Skills. You got 'em.

yeah, I liked it too. And nice guitar.

Definitely DT influenced. Maybe a little Porcupine Tree as well?

I'm also very impressed with the drum track. I thought it was an actual drummer until I read that you used EZDRUMMER. (never heard of it)

hey guys, thanks again!! can't say that enough, it's been great reading all this

definitely a lot of DT, Porcupine tree, older 80's prog rock, and some of the extreme stuff like lamb of god, I pretty put everything I know about music here LOL

It is really cool to hear that about the drumming EZdrummer is a great program, but I tweak it to make it sound like that. I have been using it in all my originals. There is a video called 190 MPH in my channel (played with my other JP by the way) where people actually tell me the drums sound horrible, and I kind of agree after I compare them to the other tracks I have created.

So when I release the album via itunes I'll definitely revisit the drums on that track and ensure they sound better. I do some compression, EQ and reverb to get it to sound like that

Make sure to check Rage and Pain as well, that one has some wicked drumming :)

Absolutely love it.

Huge rhythm tone, very nice indeed.

There really has been some great playing produced by forum members of late.

Great stuff, fella :)

awesome videos!
very cool songs and fine playing. that´s exactly my cup of tea.

and yes, EZDrummer is a cool programm for less money and it sounds great.
do you send each EZD track to a different return on your DAW?
this is the way i use it, so it´s possible to mix the drum-kit like a real played kit.

Thanks Joe

I don't go that far actually with EZDRummer, but I do separate the snare from the rest of the kit
In one track I'll have the snare, I'll do stuff to it to make it "pop" better, at least to my ears, the rest of the kit just receives a bit or reverb for extra room and a touch of bass EQ

Really, thanks for watching!
