JP GEAR and interview

Hey man,

He was talking about how the new one has a bigger body, less of a scoop and is made out of better tone woods. I got to cop a feel of his axe. The one he was warming up with was in an awesome colour 'Bahama Blue'. All his new guitars have a D-Sonic in the Bridge.

His warm up gear consisted of a metronome and a mesa boogie express 5:25 combo with a 10 inch speaker

I never really like the JP model too much as the basswood version sounded too nasal for my taste but the new one seemed to have a bit more snap to it. An amazing guitar.

I used to play a PRS custom 24 for the last 7 years. But my alegiences have changed due to the Amazing live sounds you can get from Musicman! :)

I think i might have fallen in love with the BFR's!

I currently use a Morse Y2D model with is increadable for more authentic and classic tones . I am endorsed by Marshall at the moment and the Morse model sounds great through the new JVM Head.

(I also have a Mesa Rectifier, but that is more for layering for rhythm)

Dowwnloads of guitarmageddon

Is there a way to download the interview?

I will be making the downloaded interviews available soon. However due to copyright law I can only offer the actual interview with selected tracks.

A lot of artists like to choose the music to be aired on the show.

I am working on sorting out some sort of deal with I tunes where you can download the interview and all of the music (2hr+ podcast) in a package for a few quid (bucks!)

but i will definatley make the true audio available for fans.

i have Steve Vai, JP, Paul Gilbert, Joe Satriani (my fave!), Stevie Salas, Alvin Lee, Andreas Kisser, Joe Bonamassa,.....

been quite a year :)

Chris do you also work in the media?

Colin,

I have a radio show all about guitar players. So you could say that i am in the media :)

It has been a dream to meet all my idols, and it feels like i have learnt so much from sitting in a room with these guys and getting to ask them whatever I want.

I honestly feel I have improved as a player after hearing some wise words of wisdom from JP.

how about yourself?
