Hi! I need some help with wiring. I'm trying to install electronics from a JP signature guitar into a old crappy guitar. I got it from a friend, and at that time, the only cables connected is the ones shown in image below (i have soldered the pickup cables. It was marked with bridge, neck and initials for colors, so i hope that is correct) I have 2 pickups, 1 vol, 1 tone and a three-way switch between bridge, neck or both.

And below is the wiring diagrams i found, but they don't make sense to me. especially since they don't match with the wiring that was done before i got it.

Middle lug of the volume pot should be wired to the hot of the output jack and the middle lug of the tone pot should be wired to a capacitor (.022µF), which is grounded at the other end. Other than that it looks ok, but hard to tell exactly from the pic. Also assuming those are the right pots, I can't tell from the numbers on the back. Should be 500k audio taper.

Your best bet is to email EB and ask for a wiring diagram for the JP and use that as a reference. The Dimarzio diagrams are laid out a little differently (they don't use the PCB board on the switch).

Beyond that, I'd suggest asking a friend or taking it to a tech. Good luck.
