I just found this on YouTube.Very cool video of John and Roger Taylor warming up back stage on their 2005 tour.I believe the Stingray John is playing was the one that belonged to Bernard Edwards. Some good footage of Johns slap technique at about 4 minutes in....

John Taylor's one of my guilty pleasures. He accounts for my fascination with Aria Super Basses.

Looks like a Peavey emblem on the bottom of his amp.

That was pretty cool, I always liked John's basslines. And wouldn't that be something having Bernards bass, as well as the things learned from him back then.

John's bassline from "Rio" was very cool IMHO. Much more complex than the typical "New Wave" thing, if you will.
