EBMM sent a bunch of guitars to Johnny and the Silhouette was the one that he liked/picked. It covers more ground tone wise

You're right about the ground coverage on the tone Colin. And also, thanks for the clarification. I didn't know EBMM sent Johnny a bunch of guitars to try.

Okay, my thread hijacking is done. Peace - out.... (Do people still say that?)

Shawn, nice to see you weighing in here, and you were just killing it on Saturday! Your "thumb-popping thing", or whatever Johnny called it :), was jaw-dropping. Love your playing, you and the drummer were just locked in, there were many favorable comments about the rhythm section at the bar (which was dominated by the Southeast Guitar and Amp Show crowd) after the set.

Here's the only semi-decent pic I got of you (but the Ernie Ball Hat is on backwards), hope you don't mind:

Yup, I wish I had...I had to leave just before the start of Mike Landau's show. I was running on fumes from business travel all week, had to get up at 5:30AM on Sunday for an early flight, plus I'm old, blah, blah..:)

Thanks Guitarhack and Ernesto! Always nice to hear that the sound and/or tone was good. I was pretty happy with it, but there's always more knobs to tweak. :)
