Welcome, Tony.

Now, if you want to be morally superior, you can get a Bongo :D

A fairly recent wrist injury makes me uncomfortable on basses with downsized bodies - otherwise I'd seriously look into owning a Bongo 5. I think they may have one of the finest, most musically voiced pre-amps available on any bass today, and by that it takes the Bongo up with the best sounding bass guitars on the market.

Welcome Tony. I am a SR5 player from the word go.Recently got a Bongo 5 H. Band loves it as do I. The SR5 is what I still groove on the best.

Once you go EB it is all good.

The Bongo has a killer B string though.

I am going through strapping the bongo different now. I got some Bongo love myself. I am going to play it as well as I do the SR5 eventually.

Guess being old it does take longer to learn new things once in awhile.

You will see me smiling while playing my SR5 or my Bongo. They are both the living end.

Get there as fast as you can. Hang around here and get as crazy as the rest of us. It is all fun.

I'm on board - it felt morally improper to join an Ernie Ball board w/o being a Stingray owner :)

I have a new-to-me SR5 in Lava Pearl coming in next week. It'll be the third one I've owned, but I haven't had one in the stable for a while. Pics to come !

I had better get a shift on then!
