In preparation for my RW Axis (soon, soon) I was wondering how I'm supposed to care for the neck? When I called in to customer service a few months ago, I was told that the standard oil & wax wouldn't do as it would leave a white-ish covering on the neck. What products should I use?

We are using a different wax on these awesome guitars, but the brand name escapes me at the moment...I will check it out tomorrow, and let you guys know. It is just a bit early to start stressing about the guitars you don't even have yet...You guys are as geeky as me

Jon,

While you're checking, tell me what kind of oil I'll need for my EBMM Razzocaster model circa 2038. :D :D

By then there will be no more oil. The Lion will lay down with the Lamb, and the Eagles and Stones will be doing a farewell tour. Maybe. I don't know.

Ahhh, you're killing me! Well, I am anxious but these posts are really just a way to get me out of the "Junior Member" status.

I mean, c'mon - Junior Member? You guys really know how to hurt a guy... ;)

Back to our regularly scheduled RW Axis thread...
Just you wait-the RW neck will flip you out completely. I've had mine 2 weeks, and the guitar continues to blow me away. Just an amazing guitar.

I want a Supersport hardtail with MM90s, a flamed natural maple top, and a RW neck in the worst way...

Thank you sir, much appreciated - the oil is the same, no?

BriWax

Also - and yes, I am totally geeking out here - should we use the one with toluene or without - BriWax standard or 2000 (they don't reference the article# you did above on their site)?

Thanks again...

I am not sure if they are oiling the rosewood necks...rosewood is pretty oily as it is. I will check.
