Jeez, what a bunch of white guys.

Okay, here:

Mi Querido Juancito:
(My darling Jon)

Como ya lo sabes, vas a tener la oportunidad de ajustar y afinar a mi nueva bajo - !que suerte tenemos los dos de nosotros!

(As you already know, you're going to have the opportunity to adjust and fine tune my new bass - how lucky the two of us are!)

Pues es que solamente estoy pensando que si hubieras tenido el tiempo para mirar, chequear mejor dicho, para ver si ya hay construido y listo mi bajo verde.

(It's just that I was wondering if you'd had the time to look, to check that is, to see if it was already built and ready, my green bass.)

No quiero esperar! No quiero esperar! Ayudame, Juan, jardinero de mis suenos!

(I can't wait! I can't wait! Help me, Jon, gardener of my dreams!)

Jacobo
(Jack)

Gringos!

I think the confusion was a result of my butchered attempt at a Spanish post in a white boy accent. I knew this white guy who'd pronounce "y" (and) as "why". It shook the class and the teacher up quite a bit, yup. So I jus' thought I'd add some more spice to this spicey thread. Not so spicy, eh? :p

Bovine, not a question of being white (which, of course I am the last time I checked) - as I said it was more an issue of my thought process 14 years ago. I goes something like this:

"Oh, Spanish 101, cool I'll take that, should be easy."

But then I discovered the evils of "after hours" college life and so it changed to:

"Spanish 101... I'll never use it... I'll just hit the snooze bar for the 22nd time."

Now it is 14 years later and it just evolved again:

"Man I feel like an a*s for wasting all that money at school. I wish I would have actually learned what I was suposed to rather than being asuch a lazy a*s so I could actually read and understand these post."

Live and learn I guess :D
