Well boys and girls it has been fun. Amazing fun. I have had 4 good years out here in the middle east and tomorrow is my last day. 1 year ago one of my sons was diagnosed with Autism. The provision and cost of care in Dubai was just too much for us so my wife and the boys returned to the UK and I had to stay here and tough it out to keep the bread on the table for a year.

It has given me great oportunities with the band (opening for Santana ect...), but I have missed too much of what realy matters and i am throwing in the towel.

I cant wait to get on the plane. My ASS is traveling with me and I have shipped all other stuff back already. Once I get a job in the UK a Silo spec is on the cards!

It was great to see Spud over here......man i need to post these photos!!!

With your permission I am going to keep my user name!!!!!!

Look forward to seeing some of you Knuckleheads in the Glasgow area.

Cheers,

Buggin out,

Jonny Dubai (Glasgow!!)

Have a good trip home Jonny.

You've had some great experiences and the memories will stay with you forever, so you can hold your head up and be proud.

Getting back to the family will be great, you can catch up on so much.

All the best.

Hey Jonny,

I admire you for sticking it out in Dubai while your family had to go back to the UK. I also am really curious about Dubai and your experiences there. It definitely tops my list in Intriguing Destinations!

Anyhow, welcome back to the UK, Jonny!

Way to take care of the family.
You can always go back to the band later on.

Travel safe. Also, was saddened to hear of your child's autism diagnosis. One of my closest friends has a son with asbergers (a mild form of autism) and he's a great kid! Best to you and the family.

Congrats on going back home to Glasgow and, more importantly, your family.

Was back home in Glasgow for the weekend (for the 1st time since New Year) and it's also great going back home (although it was pissing down all weekend - but it's always dry in the Pub ;))

I truly admire you for toughing it out in Dubai, with your family thousands of miles away. However, you are obvously making the right decission: a man's place is, after all, with his family! I am sorry to hear about your son's condition and truly hope he gets the professional attention he needs.

Get home safely and don't pack too much sun screen ;)

Cheers
