Can anyone tell me more about JP's that came with this Amethyst color? I really would like to learn more about them. Were they BFR only? I am in a position to buy a JP guitar. I had no idea JP's existed with this color. If any of the team at home base knows of any Amethyst JP's that might be coming out I would appreciate knowing. I would be willing to wait for one as Purple and Pink quilts are my favorites!

Thanks to all,

Dale

The Amethyst Color was available on the JP 6&7 BFR and the JP Baritone BFR a couple of Years ago, along with Trans Green and Walnut if I'm not mistaken.
But these Colors are discontinued for a few Years now, So your only Chance to get one would be the used Market.
Just a few Details:
These Guitars would also have the Older Style JP Trem that has a Cutout in the Baseplate where the Trembar is. The new JP's got a Rectangular Baseplate. They'll have Standard Fretwire since Stainless Steel Frets where introduced in '12 I believe.
I don't know if the Color will be ever available again, I really wish I would have gotten one, but they seem to be pretty rare and hard to find as a Used Guitar.

Okay. The reason I was asking is I don't think they called translucent, I think they were bursts.

The only one I've seen recently was a baritone, on reverb I think.

I've been looking for a regular JP6 so if u come across one let me know!
