I take it your not married right? Well if the dude had a bit more feedback then I would seriously consider, since a guitar like that would probably cost me over 2000.00 here in Canada...

A guitar like that would cost about $5000 - $5500 here in Australia.

It sure looks sweet, thats what my next guitar is gonna be, but l'm afraid if l do get a 7 string l might be compelled to break out into a Korn song AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Ah denial, maybe if l start to ignore Eminim, corn, britney Spears etc, they will just go away.

Thanks for the help Raz, now l have no problems buying a JP 7 string. :D :p

Proud endorsee of popular music ignorance since 1997. :D

Unfortunately, it doesn't work, as these "artists" keep spawning like a virus, but it sure as hell keeps your sanity in check. :)

"That's my plan - Is it working?"

Kinda, it doesn't help that l see them all the time on the TV. Britney Spears is about 1-2 years away from doing a porn movie. :D

And like every virus, there has to be a cure, we just have to find it. :p

Well it saves me making an ass of myself in front of my friends and people l meet, l just think, "what would Eminim do? and l'll do the opposite." :p

No but seriously, if you play tuned down then a 7 is perfect, it's like two guitars in one...although I still like to achieve a nice heavy tone, I still play all and any style that I feel the need to play. I'm sure most people know this, but I for one didn't until I got my 7 and that is that the 7 string originated in the jazz circle, and of course I believe Mr. Vai brought it too light and made it more popular.

Yeah l know what ya mean Raz, i just haven't got a 7 string yet, because l really have no use for it, although l love getting at thick metal tone that only a 7 string can get you, or l can try tuning my e down to b, then it just flopps around. Anyway, in my band we try to stray away from wierd tuning songs, cause the less l have to change my guitar, the better. Maybe sometime in the future l'll get one, but not right now. I just got a Petrucci with piezo, so l'm really looking forward to playing that. :D
