Exactly what the title says. I've noticed this for quite some time but I figured it was due to the cheap 200mah rechargeable 9vs I was using. I finally got fed up and bought some 500mah and 600mah rechargeable batteries, but same problem. And before anyone suggests it, yes, I do unplug them completely.
So, I went out and bought some standard energizer 9vs on Friday and threw one in my JP6 and one in my JPXI. I played each for about 2 hours while going through our full setlist, and then unplugged each and hung them on the wall. Did the same on Saturday, and again unplugged and hung on wall. Tonight the JP6 battery is completely dead while the JPXI is completely fine. About 3-4 hours of actual playtime and a little more than 48 hours of 'just sitting there' since new battery was put in.
Is there any way there could be an internal short that would drain the battery like this but yet not affect the actual sound or tone? (it still sounds amazing, no extra noise/hum/etc.) I have no idea where to even start looking. Ideas???
