I had a chat with JP today which contained some details that I thought would be worth mentioning here and I'm sure John wouldn't mind me sharing this. He told me about getting his new BFRs and was literally just beside himself with excitement. He was telling me about them as if he were one of my students who just got his first guitar - he was that thrilled. This, from a guy who tours with 16 beautiful guitars all the time. :) He told me that if I were to play one, that there is no way I could resist it because they feel and sound so good. He just couldn't get over the immaculate workmanship and kept commenting on how beautiful they are and how good they sound on the new DT album.

The reason I bring this up is because it shows how happy he truly is with his guitars and with EB/MM. This wasn't an advertisement. It was two guys talking about guitars and it's very evident that EB/MM have made JP a guitar that blows him away.

I've talked to guys before who weren't very happy with certain products they endorsed. But when you make your artists as happy as JP is, the product will sell itself. It's only logical. Everybody is going to see his excitement and it will be infectious. Good job EB! I'm anxious to sit down and test drive one of these someday. :)

I'm very happy that JP likes them.....Makes me have assurance that the instrument i play is to the caliber of a monster guitarist like JP, and i am too anxious to test drive one...Hopefully soon.
