Question JP Knobs

Did the JP guitars ever have different knobs on?

I thought they always had the black dome type knobs with the rubber gromit, and there's a ten year old JP in my shop that even has them, yet someone on a forum is selling a JP7 which has Chrome tele-style knobs and he says that's what used to come on JP's....?

Anybody?

No - all production JP's have had the plastic knobs with rubber grommet. Some folks choose to change em up. There are Koa JPs and some LE JPs (Black) that had gold knobs but they are the same style.
