Hi there!
Sorry for being so technical-minded and disturbed by the above issue, but is it possible to sum up all available information about neck thickness on different JP models or point me at the correct direction where to look it up? Even though I tried to search through the forum, I just came across information on some separate models or posts like "neck on my model feels like...".

Normally, this kind of information can be easily found on guitar builders sites, so I'm really puzzled why I can't find it about MM.
Thanks in advance for your comments and - what's the most important - detailed measurements!

If you could be so kind to point me at the neck thickness measurements there, I'll do anything you want:)

The neck profiles of instruments aren't posted. (That's a tough thing to do.) If you search, you'll find a handful of threads where people provided measurements.

If you can, best bet is always to play an instrument in person.

Thx, beej!
I wish I had a chance to take hold of all JP models and play them in person:)
So, I'll keep digging into the forum threads.

A friend of mine is looking for a JP model with the thinnest neck, so I decided to help him (and I'm curious about this as well). If you could tell the right answer (preferably with the dimensions), this would be great.

Which JP models are you interested in?
I'm interesting about JP15 Blue Berry Blue, i have a MMJPXI, and i want to know exactly about neck thickness, i know which thikness on standart JP6 - it's thinner than my JPXI.
Do we have the ratio of the radius to the thickness?

Apreciate it, my friend!

I see, a JP15. Sorry, don't have one of those.

I had a few minutes and measured all the JPs we have in stock with a set of digital calipers, any variations could be from the hand-sanding, or my inability to properly use the calipers.

The flame top Sahara Burst JP15 is approximately 0.775" thick at the first fret, and 0.825" at the 12th fret.

The Blueberry Burst JP15 #122 is approximately 0.780" thick at the first fret, and 0.800" at the 12th fret.

The Blueberry Burst JP15 #138 is approximately 0.800" thick at the first fret, and 0.820" at the 12th fret.

The Blueberry Burst JP15 #186 is approximately 0.770" thick at the first fret, and 0.825" at the 12th fret.

The Copper Fire Majesty is approximately 0.785" thick at the first fret, and 0.865" at the 12th fret

The Viola Artisan Majesty is approximately 0.780" thick at the first fret, and 0.890" at the 12th fret.

The Stealth White JP6 is approximately 0.785" thick at the first fret, and 0.830" at the 12th fret

In other words: because of hand sanding, the necks will never be 100% uniform. So, no model of JP specifically has a thinner neck than another model of JP. Just the nature of working with wood.
