Tonight on American Idol there was a guy from Rickey Minor's band playing a Pearl Redburst JP in the middle of the stage. Unfortunately his guitar was buried in the mix but it sure looked great.

I noticed that tonight too when I walked past the TV while my wife was watching AI.

It was about 15 minutes into the show, during Jordan's performance. They all did Bon Jovi tunes tonight and she sang "Living on a Prayer". Sanjaya is gone.

Sanjaya and Howard Stern's compaign were the only things that made that show even remotely funny.

i saw the clip on the net of Jeff Beck being sideman for Kelly Clarkson, thank god i didnt have to watch the whole show. Beck is great though.

I've never seen one episode. Ever. I'm not about to start watching now. I am not a fan of "reality" TV. I'd be more entertained by videotaping my average day and then watching it when I get home from work. Wait... that kinda sounds wrong.
I think it's great that EBMM guitars are getting super exposure that way.

I don't consider it reality TV because people actually die.

Yep...I saw the JP...it was the only thing on the show that got me interested...after that....I switched the channel. I would rather watch the Man Killing station called Lifetime than sit through AI.

Yeah...that is a great show...my buddy has been on it. He is a deep sea diver and has been working down in the Gulf for sometime now since Katrina...
Back on topic....I have to say...I think the talent pool has been tapped with the show since season 3.....
