That one has a rosewood fretboard but the new pickups. Is this because it was after the pups were changed but before NAMM? Just curious.

The one I posted has an ebony board. Put the pic next to the other basscentral stealth. You can see it plain as day.

i disagree with you BK, the grain seems much to open for it to be ebony. at least, that's what i see.
edit: all entries at basscentral read rosewood. plain as day. except for the koa, of course.

I've played a stealth jp6 they got in at gc in el toro. The thing absolutely smokes and looks killer. Ultimate metal machine. Tone that's clear for days even on the highest gain. Just an awesome guitar all aroud. This one had the shield inlays and piezo but had the rw neck. I might have to break my "no signature models" rule for this one. Unless they dare release a stealth silo...

If it really is rosewood, thats one REALLY dark piece of rosewood. I've seen it that dark before, but only when it's been stained. That's not something I think EBMM would do.

basscentral has a guy who does their website and the pics they have up aren't always the guitars they have on hand. I've had to ask them to update a couple times. I think they regurgitate all of their descriptions also...might not have updated the description yet.

Either way, it's an awesome color combination. And even if the one I pictured is rosewood, it will give a good idea of what a stealth with ebony will look like.
