Hi,

I played a new JP12 BFR (has the BFR inlay at 12th fret) yesterday, and I really liked the neck. It seemed to be a bit thicker than I expected it to be - a good thing that has me on the verge of buying it. Question: what is the neck thickness? Felt thicker than the neck on an Ibanez prestige 652 that I had to part with due to how thin the neck felt to me.

Someone mentioned the JP12 neck is 17mm, which I'm having a hard time believing. Is there a JP12 AND a JP12 BFR, or are they the same thing?

Thanks.

Hi, I have a JP12 Cherry Sugar BFR and a JP12 Bali Burst BFR... and they both have the same neck dimensions.
Neck Radius:20" (50.8 cm)
Neck Width:JP12 6: 1-11/16" (43.0 mm) at nut, 2-1/4" (57.2 mm) at last fret
The neck is Ultra Flat and Thin.. The 20" Radius is my Favorite Neck Profile..

My Majesty and JP15 both have a 17" Radius which is a little thicker..
