Hi all I'm new to the forum so take it easy on me! i am virtually in love with the new JP12 based on the specs, but i have never tried it?!? i really like the wood combo and the flatter 20" rad. my queston is this: i have always wanted a MM JP model, i currently play a 92 Rg770 Prest. DX Ibby and am very happy with the neck prof. the orig. 87 wiz. neck. i also love th e 1.690" Radii. I don't think i should feel much diff. between 1.690" and 20" after playing this axe for 20 years now. my question is this: their is so much hype about Suhr Moderns, and i am really torn betweeen these two models, again i have NOT tried either. i would like to know if anyone has exerience with the JP12 or JPXI and Suhr Modern and how the neck profiles compare, since i have small hands and short stubby (Sausage) fingers!!! haha any type of info. is highly appreciated. people are all crazy over the Suhr moderns but are they really that better if any than a EBMM JP12 or JPxI? i really don't know what to think, i need help because i want to buy one of these two guitars but my heart tells me to go with the JP12 although the fact of a custom built is appealing?!? My main concern is the Neck Depth/thickness which i feel i will "NOT LOVE" on the Suhr as much as the JP12. the Jp's have the best neck profiles in the buisnesss for me. so please help me decide which guitar is best for me. i don't want to regret making a wrong purchase, oh by the way please do not be biased cause' this is a JP forum. please give me some honest perspective. thanks to all and happy to be on the board and hopefully part of the family soon. Rock on !!! P.S. my style is 80's speed metal, think MAB - Petrucci - Gilbert-Impelllitteri -stump and "MAESTRO Jason Becker
