JP13 Push/push Volume Knob Issues

Greetings,

I bought a JP13 to try out and the push/push volume / pre-amp boost knob won't stay in the down position to de-activate the boost.

Any quick fix ideas to remedy this or at least a way to dis-engage the boost so I can continue to try out the guitar in leu of returning immediately?

Every once in a while I can get it to catch and stay down but as soon as I try to adjust the volume up or down it pops back up engaging the boost.

Some Lukes came with this problem in the beginning and the simple screwing of the screw on the knob fixed it most of the times. Maybe it will work on the jp13

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried that. It was already pretty tight. I turned it a bit but it didn't help.

Do not tight, but loose and see if it helps.
