Hi all, looking to order a JP6 BFR Bahama Blueburst this week. I have seen pictures of this guitar that look completely different from another top wise (see attachments). How when I order do I ensure I get the same quilt as the attachment bahama blue 1 ( the official musicman photo) as it's the one I prefer. Are they different tops or woods or is it that each turns out differently?
Sorry if this is a silly question I just want to be sure I get the guitar I want at such high cost.

Cheers, Joe

The one on the left in the case has a flame maple top, the one on the right in the Music Man photo is a quilt top. If you want one like in the Music Man photo, you need to specify "quilt" top when you order.

Also realize you are looking at wood here. The quilt is going to vary totally from guitar to guitar. Every top is going to be different.

Thanks, another question if i may. When ordering can I specify an ebony fretboard, or is that just for the koa model (living in the UK can't find a website to order from). It's no big deal if not but a slight preference.

You can't choose an ebony fretboard, as you stated, it's only on the Koa and a few others like the Stealth etc.

Welcome to the forum!
