Good Morning.

I've had my JP6 for a good 10 years now and the MAG Jack input is starting to go on the Piezo pre-amp.

Has anyone found a way or have the part number for a new Jack input for these boards?

It was crackling before but nothing bad, used contact cleaner etc and it cleaned up a bit. Just this last week while rehearsing I could hear the guitar drop out and come back a few times and then on Sat night when playing a gig I heard it start to drop out and come back then nothing at all.. I quickly grabbed my spare and continued with the rest of the Gig and haven't tried it since as it's in the rehearsal space.. going to have a propper look at it tonight

Could be something as simple as the connector getting bent back after so much use. I occasionally have to bend mine a bit- easier to do on the old switchcraft style jacks.

If it needs something more than that, you could try giving the MM support folks a call (link in my signature) for advice, or a new jack.

Yeah. I haven't done it myself, but I'd probably try making some sort of clip and inserting it to pull the jack forward. Of course replacing it will definitely solve the problem.
