My JP6 Mystic Dream, piezo, dot inlays arrived yesterday 9-14-07. To say Im pleased is a understatement. LOL. Thanks to everyone here that I pestered with JP6 questions. Believe me it helped me to make what I feel is a great decision.

The build quality on this gtr is just superb. From the birdseye figuring on the back of the neck to the pristine flip flop paint. This finish its unbelievable. I really should have just expected this coming from EB MM but when seen in person its really remarkable. A total head turner. Completely worth its cost.

The fret work is top notch. No fret sprout, completely smooth and well dressed, no buzzing. I like the 24 fret neck. The thinness of this neck front to back combined with the 15 degree radius is great; just what I wanted. The string spacing is wide though. I was very surprized. Makes for great bending. Im sure I will get used to it in time.

The mag pickups are simply great. The middle position is very quacky. I love it. The piezo slays. Its about a thousand times better sounding than my "other" piezo loaded gtr. I was on the edge with getting yet another piezo system but Im happy I did.

The trem is the best. The fact it floats and I can pull up on it makes my day alone.

All in all this is not just another "good" gtr...this is a GREAT, professional, high end instrument. Im sure Ill come up with a hundred thousand more great things to say about the gtr as the days go by.

Pics will follow soon. Currently, it's on Pete's website under recently sold 961-09-21-00

Its part of my signature...starts w/a P..... LOL. In fairness this P..... is not a high end USA model but still it has USA made Fishman Electronics. It is a good sound but is easily lost running in mono w/one amp. I realize Im not using the piezo to its potential but already I can tell the JP6's piezo response and evenness is significantly better.
