Hello I am a life long Floyd Rose player and with my new purchase of a JP6 with locking tuners, the guitar is constatnly going out of tune. This is an issue even if I am not using the whammy bar. Are there any guides on setting up a MusicMan guitar for innotation, string height, etc? I would appreciate any help.

first order of business........have you called customer service ?
is the guitar new ?
are you the original owner?
it sounds like the nut slots are binding.

here are my tips on whammy systems.
i lube the springs where they contact the claw and the block. i lube the saddles where the strings cross. i lube the bridge plate and the bridge post where they meet and pivot at the knife edge . i also inspect the post and bridge plate for smoothness and file and sand as necessary to get a perfectly smooth knife action. i use 2 springs not angled. this way the springs sit in the provided slots on the string block properly.the morse has a locking nut.....so i don't have nut slots to pamper. but the slots MUST be smooth, not too tight. clean, & lubed. the locking tuners will work if you don't wrap the string more than 3/4 of a wrap.
i love big bends nut sauce cause it stays put for a while.
