Help! JP6 Piezo issue

Hi I've been having issues with my piezo side on my JP6. The offset in the volume between the Piezo and the MAgnetic pickups are huge and I can't get the piezo wolume anywhere neer the same level as the Magnetic volume.

Am I doing something stupid like using the wrong type of cable? The battery is brand new and I can't see any other issues with the piezo bridge itself.

Have you tried adjusting the "mix" screw , next to the treble/bass on the preamp? - you just need a small cross head screwdriver to adjust it?

Yeah tried that all the way and no joy. I've just purchased a Stereo splitter so I'll be running the guitra through a stereo cable and splitting the mags and the piezo to 2 seperate systems so I'll see how it is when that comes as from what I gather this bypasses the pre-amp and is controlled off of the 3rd pot only?

And cheers for the welcome.... can't believe its taken me this long to join. Getting a whole new rig (once the pennies become available) so I could be pestering you guys like mad for the next wee while
