Hi there
I've just installed a D-Sonic in one of my Pets thats a couple of years old.
The mode selector switch appears not to be selecting the piezo only option when using a stereo cable in the stereo jack socket. I get the same effect when using a mono cable in that jack socket, suggesting that it may be the socket itself that is at fault.
The stereo cable works fine on my new JP6 with piezo so I know it isn't the cable. All the other wiring is intact and I've installed a new mode selector switch (courtesy of stringsandthings - UK distributor).
The trouble is, the jack seems to be entirely enclosed and attached to the piezo pre-amp so I'm not sure if I can remove it to check without causing damage.
Is there an easy way to remedy this or will I need a new pre-amp?
