If you saw my "Noob here" thread, you saw the default pictures. I haven't taken the time to take any others because I've been playing it
I have to say, fit, finish and factory setup were better than any guitar I've ever played. With that said a factory setup is just that, "Factory" not personalized to me.
Man those 10's on the first three strings felt like I was trying to wrestle powerlines, and this is coming from someone who still uses 13 flatwounds on a "Jazz Box".
So after searching the forum and reading all of the previous "JP setup threads" I went out bought some slinky 9's and some Hybrid slinkys. Lowered the strings with a simple turn of the wheel - Pure Genius in the design of this alone. Replaced the first 3 strings with 3 from the Slinky9 set (made my own hybrids), adjusted the claw appropriately and now it plays like it was made for me!
My fingers are pretty sore now, I played for almost 7 hours yesterday. The wife wasn't extremely happy about that, but I'll get to the honey do list today, or tomorrow or something like that.
