Question JP6 Scoop or No Scoop

Last fall I purchased a JP6 BFR, black surgar color with a roasted birds-eye maple neck and the forearm cut is just a straight angle cut, but I see many JP6's with a scooped forearm cut. What explains the difference?

Sounds like you got one with the BFR body (most of the roasted JP6's have the normal basswood body) in which case I'm extremely jealous!
