I knew my JP6 sounded great for practice, but I got to try it out at a live gig this Saturday. Sounds incredible. Clear and defined yet nicely overdriven sound. Lots of texture.
For comparison I played my (now) backup, a Warmoth chambered Korina Strat, with Maple neck and ebony fretboard, and Duncan Antiquity sSrfer II's that I assembled out of parts.
I thought my Korina Strat had great tone. But in comparison to the JP6, the Korina Strat was flat, lifeless and not nearly as loud. The JP6 had more clarity AND more texture.
That JP6 is an amazing guitar live.
Now I have to get a Luke next!
