I have a JP7 BFR Ruby Burst and the guitar is great but I'm having a hard time to like the pickups (CL/LF).
I have 6 Caparison guitars with Bareknuckle, cBombs/Cold Sweats and Juggernauts.
My playing style has been adapted to use the dynamics which BKP offers and the DiMarzio CL sounds dull and hifi. LF on the other hand sounds nice.
I've been searching for the CL/LF 7 dimension and some threads states that the JP7 differs from the retails.
My goal is to replace the pickups, preferable Juggernaut set or second choice a cBomb/ColdSweat set.
My concern is that it won't fit because of the depth.
Juggernaut is 21.6mm depth, 89.5mm length, 36.9mm wide
cBomb/CS is 16.6mm depth, 89.5mm length, 36.9mm wides
BKP are very sensitive to heights therefore it's better to have the pickup farther from the string because then it's easier to put foam under than opposite. I don't want to reroute this beautiful guitar =)
