Question JPX-6 (2nd position - neck single coil)

Hi,

I've had my beautiful JPX-6 since Christmas. I find all p/u switch positions useful except position 2 (outer coils). I would appreciate some guidance to take the "outer coil" position (I believe that is position 2) and wire it to only play the neck outer coil. Is it a simple "remove" a wire from the 5 position switch?

Wondering if someone else has done this mod and if they find it to well represent a Strat neck single-coil tone.

Funny. I actually find that to be the only useful position with those pickups. It seems to be the only clean setting out of all of them.
