Thanks. That finish looks great in still photos, but that is the first time I've seen how the light reflects off of it as it moves and it looks even better!

He probably meant it was new in comparison to the other models. I want this guitar so badly now, was not too interested about it the first time I saw it... but my interest grew very fast . Especially with that lighting WOW.

i hope they dont.. then it will be just like anyother guitar with an ernieball 4x2 headstock , normal jps and bfrs look sophisticated and really refined instruments, having a 5 way switch will just look too ordinary and simple. IMHO

i'm pretty sure he meant, new to all of his models, in the sense that it is new in the jp line of guitars. something that hasn't been on any of his guitars before...not that its new FOR all of his models.

i suppose if there is a high demand for the guitar they may offer other colors... and if JP says change the color they will.....

I'd like to see them just offer a pot luck thing... like you order the guitar and say every 25 they change the color or so...

It just amazes me that there are no sound bytes or videos of the Jpx in action! Its been at least a week or more after namm and still not a peep. I ordered one anyway but I still would like to hear it to justify my drooling
